What is Reflexology good for?

I did a talk recently, for the Mother's Union...

The main question was 'What is Reflexology good for?' A good question, and to know the answer to this, one needs to know how it works...
Pressure is applied in a very gentle technique using the thumb, to reflexes (or nerve endings) found in the feet or hands. When the pressure technique is applied, it allows this flow of energy to pass through the body, freeing any blockages that may have occured due to illness or injury, and hence recreating energy balance.  It is thus effective in detoxifying, as well as, amongst many things, boosting the immune system. In this way, the treatment works systemically, that is on all the body's systems, thus treating them all as a unit. Many conditions and ailments can therefore be treated through Reflexology.

A small example of conditions that Reflexology can treat, include:
Headaches / Migraines       Eczema     Constipation / Intestinal problems such as Diverticulitis    Allergies
Pregnancy related Issues     Sciatica      Back pain           Stress         Insomia    Growing Pains     Asthma
Hormonal Imbalances         Thyroid problems         Circulatory problems     Menstrual issues & much more....!
