Reflexology & Fertility

Reflexology is an important tool in aiding the process of getting pregnant. Ironically, unfortunately the more stressed one becomes about becoming a parent, the longer it takes to happen. The longer it takes to happen, the more stressed we become - And so we enter a vicious cycle.

Reflexology helps as it addresses these issues in a holistic way. It helps aid relaxation and stress relief, but also finds any underlying cause as to why pregnancy is not happening.

My advice is that I treat both partners, as, we often assume the problem lies with the woman, whereas in actual fact it is often vice versa. No one is to blame - it's just one of those things. Treatment is centred around the woman's cycle, carefully calculating the time at which treatment is likely to bring optimum effect.

I look at the length of the woman's cycle, whether ovulation is occurring, whether it is occurring in both ovaries, family medical history and what tests have been carried out. I also look at diet and exercise, as these are fundamental in order to ensure the couple are as healthy as possible to allow conception to take place.

Through reflexology I can regulate a woman's cycle, stimulate ovulation, reduce stress levels, enhance relaxation and ultimately aid possibility of conception.
